I decided to go to a Naturopath a few months ago as I was just not feeling "100%". I'm only 29 and was thinking to myself, "surely I can feel better than this?" I knew I was a few kilos overweight, but also regularly had an upset stomach and bloating, nothing major but enough to make me feel less than my best. I met with Susan and she put me through a Detox for the first 2 weeks, not a scary lemon detox type thing, but just lots of vegetables, and lean meat. The first couple of days were hard and I felt a bit under the weather, but by the end of the first week that had passed and I started getting my energy back. After the 2 weeks of detox I went onto the Shake It Diet Plan. I have lost about 4 kilos of pure fat and have put on muscle in just under 2 months, I'm half way! But more than that I have my energy back, my stomach problems are extinct and eating healthier is becoming part of my lifestyle rather than a chore I do for a short amount of time to loose some weight. I have gotten creative and now substitute rice with grated cauliflower when I do a stir fry, and use julienne zucchini instead of spaghetti. This not only tricks my brain into thinking its not missing out, but also makes it easy to get 3 handfuls of veggies in a meal. Doing these types of substitutions bit by bit has made it easier to work them into our weekly meals and I have been feeding them to my guests as well - everyone is surprised at how good they taste!

When I first came to see Sue I was suffering from extreme period pain every month. The pain was so severe that on the first and second days of my period I was often unable to work and had to take high strength pain killers. This had been going on for years. After four months of treatment with herbal medicine and supplements I experienced my first period completely free of pain. It was like a miracle! I really couldn't believe what a difference the treatment made. I now no longer have to take any herbal medicine and the pain has not returned. I would strongly recommend anyone who suffers from regular period pain to make an appointment with Sue at Women's Health, Naturally.

Sue at Women's Health, Naturally has helped me improve my physical and emotional well being enormously. One of the best things about working with Sue is that she explains what is occurring inside the body and why it is happening. The respect she showed me to understand and be involved in my recovery has empowered me to maintain long term health and well-being. It seems to me that Sue's methods of treating the patient holistically not only relieves symptoms but creates the opportunity for a vibrant, healthy life. When I first visited Sue I was suffering from long term symptoms that general practitioners and specialists were at a loss to explain. Sue explained that she has many years of university study and clinical practice as the foundation for her technique of treating the body not as a series of parts but as a functioning organism that must have balance to function effectively. Over several sessions Sue and I worked together to address the underlying health issues caused by a modern lifestyle. Because I had been feeling low for such a long time I found that as my health incrementally improved I was astonished by how good it was possible to feel. I trust Sue's advice, and recommend Women's Health, Naturally.
